ABOUT FIREBASE:

FIREBASE is the unofficial quarterly Warhammer 40,000 magazine.

Darkseer (creator of FIREBASE and editor of issue 1-3):
"The vision that became a monster!

After studying journalism, I was a waiter in a riverside restaurant. I needed good work experience to get into the media industry. That was the seed that would become FIREBASE.

Over the next few months the creative team grew and grew! In many ways, the project became a work experience vehicle for writers, artists and designers. So the objective has been achieved for more people than just me.

I now work as a copywriter for a corporate events company. Ironically, this has nothing to do with FIREBASE, but Im learning new things and love writing all day before coming home to write some more.

FIREBASE has come a long way, but we still have further to go and issue 2 will be even more brilliant than our first issue.
Weve given birth to a little monster, but its going to grow into a BIG monster!"
