Firebase Issue 5 Coming Soon

Hello all,

I know that you all have been waiting patiently for the next issue of FIREBASE. Your prayers are about to be answered!

As you may or may not know, Firebase Issue 5 has suffered several setbacks (mainly because Ben's dog ate the old copy) so everything has been remade from scratch in just three weeks! If that’s not dedication, I don't know what is? We also have a new design team and general staff giving the magazine a new look, which we will continue to develop.

With the magazine now in the final stages of development, I can proudly say that the release date is almost here!

Since we have made you wait for what must seem like an eternity, we felt it was our duty to make it worth this wait. Therefore you will be pleased to learn the length of the magazine will be almost double the size of the previous ones, roughly 200 pages of 40K content!

Also, this issue comes the “Q and A” session about the future of FIREBASE.

One of the big questions is "will further issues be pushed back?"

For the time being, yes the next issue will be pushed back due to the fact we need to re-organize a few aspects of the magazine to make it more efficient. But after Issue 6, the schedule will be more regular, and who knows? We might even speed it up a bit!

"Can I still contribute artwork/designs/articles to the magazine?"

As always, FIREBASE will be a magazine about gamers from across the world, so if you have any ideas, let us know!

Finally, "What happened to Ben's Dog?"

I am sorry to report that our resident Kroot Mercenary player had his Shapers eviscerate his dog in an effort to find the magazine. Lets just say it didn't go to well...
